This is the biology blog for GCSE students and science blog readers. Here you will find biology notes, free revision material and lecture notes for use in the classroom. I also write blog posts about interesting topics in biology and science, including genetics, evolution, neuroscience and more. Some of the blog posts include curriculum-related, such as how genetics is taught in the UK, and other posts will be more personal, such as how I studied for my biology GCSE. The aim of this blog is to provide a source of biology notes for science readers and students. I will also sometimes provide free revision material for those who wish to practise or improve on what they've read. I will also occasionally write blog posts on other educational related topics, such as how to teach zoology and botany in schools, or how to use YouTube to engage and inspire your GCSE students. I also have a range of free lecture notes and material available for you to use as posters or as a starting point for your own notes. Some of the notes are also relevant to science teachers, so if you’re a science teacher, you may find some of the same material useful for your own classroom use.
